Rusty

Tabby - Orange/Domestic Short Hair-Orange Mix: An adopted cat in Albany, NY

Medium • Adult • Male

Rusty is an awesome 5 year old male cat. He is just a love - he likes to play, cuddle, purr, and do everything else you would expect of a great kitty.

Rusty’s story is a funny one. A Whiskers volunteer worked very hard to trap a lost orange cat previously adopted from Whiskers. Late one night she found this cat in the trap and assumed it was the missing cat and brought him to our shelter. It was only by the light of day and by comparing pictures that we figured out it was the wrong cat (the missing cat was found 2 days later). Once Rusty was at the shelter we, of course, welcomed him with open arms and he did the same to us. Rusty was thrilled to be off the streets and is almost certainly an abandoned pet.

Make sure to contact Whiskers right away to meet this handsome fellow (check out the wild pattern on his nose).
