Chico is a big, handsome grey & black short haired tabby boy about a year and half old, who was rescued from a lady moving into a place with that had a no pet policy. When he was taken in for his vet check up, he had an eye condition that made his eye lids roll inward causing his hair to touch his eye. After a successful surgery, he has made a complete recovery. Chico has tested positive for FIV, so should remain INDOORS ONLY. He probably should be an only cat, or live with other FIV cats. He is a very affectionate and easy going cat who loves to have his chin scratched and will purr with delight on your lap. This guy is a real character and entertainer! If a kitty can have a sense of humor, hes got it! He has been neutered, micro-chipped, vaccinated, de-wormed, treated for fleas and is all ready to find his new forever home. The FIV virus cannot be passed to humans or dogs (and only to other cats by blood to blood contact)....

Chico has the virus, but has no evidence of having the disease, and most likely will lead a healthy life. If you are interested in Chico, please call Cynthia at (541) 338-7179..
