When it comes to relationships, I'm very level-headed. I don't leap in paws first, if you know what I mean. But give me a little time, and then I'll shower you with purrs, head-butts, and plenty of lap time. In the meantime, you may not see a lot of me - but I'll be thinking of you!

SMOKEE is a gorgeous big grey boy. He is a little bit shy and will wait for you to make the first move. But when you pet him, he goes all lovey on you. He grabs your arm and starts kneading with his front paws or all four paws. He rolls over on his back. Basically, he's a big lover who just wants someone to love and take care of him. Smokee loves to be petted and brushed. He loves laps too, but doesn't like to be held as much.

A volunteer at the CAT Shelter said that when you meet Smokee it is like finding your best friend. This guy just loves people and he is quick to show his devotion. Smokee is also extremely trusting. Some cats will not expose their bellies unless they know you. Smokee will roll over and expose his belly 30 seconds after meeting you to encourage you to give him a belly rub. Obviously he believes people are his friends. Just looking into his light yellow eyes tells you that he has a heart of gold.

Smokee was adopted before, but was returned because he did not get along with a big dog. He would probably do best in a relatively quiet home without dogs and with no cats or perhaps one non-aggressive cat.
