Rainey and Ahmad are still available from this litter. They are not bonded and can be adopted to separate homes. Their litter mates Pouncey and Hayden have been adopted. (Hopefully it isn't a coincidence that the 2 kittens named after the UF football players who graduated are the 2 that were adopted because Ahmad and Rainey are just as sweet and deserving of a forever home.) Rainey is an adorable tabby striped short haired kitty with a few orange splotches. She has turned into a large strong healthy girl weighing about 12 lbs. Rainey was a little shy at the vet clinic but is a lover in her foster home. Even at the vet clinic she was loving, gentle, easy to medicate, and a very good patient. Ahmad and Rainey are now just over a year old and just received their annual vaccine boosters. They are completely up-to-date on their vet work and ready for their new homes. They get along with other cats and would be fine to introduce to...

They get along with other cats and would be fine to introduce to your kitty needing a buddy or would do fine as only cats. Rainey would be fine as an indoor only kitty or as an indoor/outdoor cat after a few months to get to know her new home. Rainey can be independent but also affectionate and easy going. She is a very easy cat to have in foster care, gets along with the others, is a very dependable litter box user, and not overly demanding of her foster parent's attention. Please don't let her plain tabby stripes discourage you from meeting her. She is a sweet girl who just needs a chance to prove what a good companion she can be. Please e-mail us at spcagainesville@hotmail.com to learn more about our adoption process or visit our adoption coordinator, Robin, at PetsMart on Archer Road in Gainesville from 11am-4pm Sat and Sun each weekend. All of our cats and kittens have been leukemia tested, vet checked, vaccinated, dewormed and fecal parasite tested, spayed or neutered, and microchipped. We use advantage multi monthly for fleas and heartworms. Our adoption fee is $100 which helps cover a portion of their vet and care costs.
