Meet Mystery

One moment the yard was empty, and the next time the woman looked out her window, she saw a grey and white cat in her back yard.

The cat was approachable, friendly and although hungry, she looked very well taken care of.

None of the neighbors knew anything about the cat, and fliers posted all around the neighborhood brought no responses.

Where the cat came from was a mystery. Thus, "Mystery" became her name. Because she was so clean and a bit on the plump side, she could not have been outside very long. We suspect someone simply "dumped" her.

Mystery was brought to a vet for a checkup. The vet suspects she has a condition known as Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH). Like all CH cats, Mystery's walk is wobbly and uncoordinated. The video shows a little bit of how she walks. (It was taken outside because Mystery had not yet been virus tested or treated for parasites.)

The vet estimated she was between one and two years old.

Mystery is super super friendly and totally adores cuddling and petting. She must be an indoor only cat. She does not like other cats and because she is wobbly, care must be taken so that she does not fall and hurt herself. Lots of information about CH can be found on the internet and you will discover that CH cats live long and happy lives.

Mystery is currently living in a foster home, so please contact The Peter Zippi Fund if you feel you can give this sweet girl a loving home forever.
