UPDATE: Otis is doing great! All of his skin issues have been resolved, his heartworms have been successfully treated and he has filled out to a very healthy weight. Otis is still shy around people he doesn't know but once you win his trust, he is yours forever. Otis has quickly become the favorite of many AAR volunteers as they have watched him recover from years of neglect with such a loving and gentle spirit.

Otis is an absolutely adorable 4-5 year old Chinese Shar-pei mix. He was roaming the streets of an East Atlanta neighborhood when a kind-hearted soul picked him up, took him to the vet, and made him an AAR dog. He is incredibly sweet, gentle, and loving and has a very calm and easy going demeanor. He gets along with dogs and cats and loves his humans. Otis is underweight, has some skin issues and is heartworm positive as a result of his time on the street but now that he's getting some much needed TLC he is well on his way to being a very handsome and healthy boy. Otis is blind in one eye but he doesn't let that slow him down. He has fantastic manners and is completely housebroken. Otis will make a great snuggle buddy and resident couch potato for a lucky family. Will you be the one to give this gentle soul a second chance at the good life he deserves?
