Meet Gus

Hi, my name is Gus. I'm a Lab mix who was born in January 2009. So, I'm still pretty much a puppy! I have the energy and fun-loving spirit to prove it!!!! I LOVE to play with people and other dogs. I have lots of dog friends at the sanctuary who like to wrestle and chase me. So, if you have other dogs, that would be great! I'm all sweetness! My story is that I was picked up as a stray by someone who had adopted a dog from the group about two years ago. Thank goodness for them finding me and for the volunteers taking me in. I'm doing just great now but still need that forever home. Like I said, I get along well with other dogs. I think I'd be fine with cats. I love water and splashing around in my kiddie pool. The volunteers say since I'm young, I'll need structure and discipline in my new home. Don't forget though - I'll want lots of attention and love too - and don't forget playtime!!!!
