Meet Luther
Luther, a lab/beagle mix, needs a nurturing home., He was abused as a puppy and is still a bit cautious about meeting people. Usually ten minutes and some treats is all it takes to be his friend--he loves dog treats!--but Luther's initial reaction to strangers is to retreat.
He's an easy-going guy who loves to go for walks, ride in the car or lay around on a couch. He knows "sit", is learning "down" and walks nicely on a leash.He gets along fine with the female dogs but does show posturing behavior with some males. Once he has been properly introduced, he does play well with other dogs. His ideal home would be a quiet, calm environment. Luther loves attention and wants nothing more than a home where he will be accepted and loved. He has been neutered, vaccinated, wormed, had his nails trimmed and frontline applied and is ready to go home with the right family today. He is a great little guy, call or email us today to set an appointment to meet Luther, you'll be glad you did. With Luther's shyness we do recommend that he goes to an adult family.
