Chance ADOPTED! American Staffordshire Terrier & Retriever Mix West Richland, WA

Chance
is the best buddy his new person will ever have. He'll take you
jogging, and will play energetically as long as you like - his ball
drive is phenomenal. But when you've had enough, he'll be content to
flop down at your feet and just keep you company. He is safe with
dog-savvy, kind children - he adores the nine-year-old boy in his
foster family. Chance is also great with other dogs - just check out
his video clip in this listing - and he has lived safely in a foster
home where he became big brother to a litter of young kittens.



We estimate that Chance was born around January 2009. He weighs about
40 lb of pure muscle, and is unlikely to get much bigger.



We found Chance wandering in the hills south of Kennewick, WA. 
He'd apparently had a tough start in life as he showed signs of owner
abuse.  But this has in no way damaged this young guy's spirit.
Chance is a lover, trusting of humans, highly trainable and eager to
please. He can be needy when he feels unsure of himself, and he warms
up more quickly to women than to men, so he's looking for a home that
will offer him loads of love and attention. And although he is relaxed
and well-behaved indoors, this boy does love to run - a fenced yard
would be a definite plus.



Chance is presently being fostered near Olympia, WA, but we will work
with an approved adopter to transport him anyplace in the Pacific NW.
Like all Mikey's Chance dogs, he comes to you up-to-date on all shots,
microchipped, and neutered.   His adoption fee is $175, to
help offset the cost of his care.
