Hi! I'm Holmes, formerly part of the pair Sherlock & Holmes. You may notice that I'm alone now, and that's because my brother Sherlock passed away in January of 2012 after 7+ years of being together as a pair. I have to admit it's been pretty tough for me and I'm just learning how to live on my own. I was so used to having Sherlock with my whole life and things aren't as easy without my brother with me. I live in a big exercise pen and have unlimited time out of my cage every day! I am are perfect with my litterbox habits and LOVE to eat! I come right up to my foster mom to eat from her hand! I also love to be petted. I'm neutered, adorable, and love life! Don't you want an amazing boy like me to do all of your detective work for you?
Here's my story:

Here's my story:
I'm Holmes- one of the detectives of Hug-a-Bunny. Sherlock, my brother who was a grey dwarf was my right-hand man. We are a pair of brothers, a bonded pair, and always were together. We lived the beginning of our lives in a home with a family who never really interacted with us. For the most part, we lived in a big cage/hutch with just each other, which explains why we love each other so much. Our diet wasn't great there. When we were turned into Hug-a-Bunny, we were in good health, but we were so shy and our nails were so long!
Luckily, as soon as we entered Hug-a-Bunny, we immediately joined an incredible foster home! Our foster mom always says we were fun to watch and that we gave her tons of entertainment. After living with our foster mom for a few months, we were adopted into a home but were returned within 2 weeks because we weren't consistent with our litterbox. We think it was just a rough transition (the same thing happened when we first came to Hug-a-Bunny) but in time we always get the hang of it. She wasn't willing to give us the time we needed to adjust. In fact, we're 100% trained in our foster home now! We were looking for a home who will give us more time to settle in and really show our potential.
I'm pretty sad without my brother with me now that he passed away. I was so used to having him with me. I'm a senior now and just want to relax and enjoy life. I'd love to spend the rest of my life in a home of my very own. I've waited patiently for a long time!
***Holmes is now half of a bonded pair with his best friend Junie (see her profile for more information). After losing his best friend Sherlock, Holmes was lonely and needed a friend. Junie has been waiting patiently to meet her match for many years. Luckily for both of them, they live in an amazing foster home with an incredible woman, who took the time to slowly bond them together. SO, if you are looking for a sweet pair of bunnies who are incredibly deserving of a home, look no further! Junie & Holmes are ready for their "forever home"...together!***
