Trixi - ADOPTED Cairn Terrier Mix Haymarket, VA

THIS DOG HAS BEEN ADOPTED.Hi! My name is Trixi and I love to run and play. My favorite game is keep away. Just lunge towards me and I'll run and run. I'd love to have a fenced yard to run in with my new people. I like to boss around boy dogs and if I don't know them, I'll bark and make a fuss until I know them better. I'm really not fond of other female dogs at all. But people are the BEST! I come when I'm called (most of the time) and I've never had an accident indoors. They tell me I'm cute and spunky and a real comedian.


Trixi is an active 2½-year-old female brindle Cairn terrier that weighs 13 lbs. She does not get along well with strange dogs, especially females; she gets along with male dogs once she gets used to them, but she tends to be bossy with them. She is very sweet with people and listens well. She is spayed and well housetrained. Trixi loves to be with her people and is extremely affectionate.


Because we are a regional organization with limited volunteers, you must be a resident of Virginia, West Virginia, Delaware, Maryland, or Washington DC to adopt from us.
