When it comes to relationships, I'm very level-headed. I don't leap in paws first, if you know what I mean. But give me a little time, and then I'll shower you with purrs, head-butts, and plenty of lap time. In the meantime, you may not see a lot of me - but I'll be thinking of you!


More About Paula:

Paula is is a pretty brown tabby with expressive green eyes. She's a bit shy, yet responds positively when petted. She is quite vocal and will let you know when she wants more attention. She needs a little TLC to bring out her personality and affectionate side.

Paula's been at CAT almost two years now (which is just TOO long) and feels that if she could just speak to you directly, maybe you'd be encouraged to come meet her. So here are some things Paula would like to tell you:


- I really want your attention, but it's best if I approach you. Talk softly to me and let me sniff your hand.

- My special way of walking is due to arthritis.

- I love to be petted from my head to halfway down my back, but I do not like to be picked up.

- I'm a chatty girl, so let's sit down and have a conversation.

- Soft toys sprinkled with catnip are the best!

- I love to bat a wand toy while lying on my back.

- Put a new scratchy box on the floor and I am all over it!

- I am a special girl and would appreciate a special home. If you are a kind and caring person, we would get along just great!
