Her frost bitten ears and battle scars tell the story of a lifetime of misery and pain. Friendly little Willow is a young adult cat, but her face is that of an old warrior princess.

She probably once had a home because she is affectionate with people and very content in her foster home. She also loves other cats.

Abandoned in the country, Willow was only found when an elderly farmer died and rescuers came in to save the barn cats, who would have perished on the derelict farm.

She was so happy to be warm and well fed in her foster home.. and so very loving.. that her rescuers could not bear to have the beaten up cat euthanised. We thought she needed a second chance at happiness.

We hope that someone reading her story will agree, and offer her the forever home she so richly deserves.

The storybook ending would be to find a home for both Willow and one of her 'barn buddies' such as Charlie, or Willy, or Sammie.

Willow will be going to a cat sanctuary where she will joining 11 of her other barn buddies, have a outdoor run as well as a big room with sofa's and beds and shelves under windows where she can watch the snow fly from a safe warm place.
