Another point in common that Lisbeth the cat has with Lisbeth the Gold Medalist is that both are independent in their own right. Olympians have a tremendous team spirit but they must also be independent enough to achieve their personal goals. Lisbeth, the cat, has a similar independent spirit. She likes being part of a household but she also needs her space to feel comfortable. Some of the staff at CAT thinks she behaves this way because she is shy. Regardless of the reason, Lisbeth is just one of those cats that needs time to adjust to new environments. Not an uncommon issue; many humans feel the same way!

Lisbeth is a cute little kitty with BIG bright eyes and very pretty black and white markings! She is active and playful. She likes to be petted but she will also let you know when petting time is over. If Lisbeth gets scared, you may find that she gets defensive. Once she realizes that all is safe, she will often lick your hand as a source of comfort. Lisbeth is probably best with someone that is an experienced cat owner. We believe that an experienced cat owner can help her to trust and feel safe and in short order we are convinced that she will be a terrific companion. We know that she is worth the effort. Lisbeth loves to sit on laps and lick your fingers and maybe gently nibble a bit too. She is a very delightful kitty!
