Meet Tipsy
Hello, I'm Tipsy and I was born some time in 2005. (approximation)
A kind woman named Frances brought me and a bunch of my feral colony mates to Carol to be fixed. She was very concerned because she noticed that while I could walk a little without trouble, my back legs would give out and I'd tip over mid-stride. Not sure whether or not I had sustained an injury, she was relieved to get me to Carol for spaying and a check by Dr. Bruce Langlois. Dr. Langlois examined me and determined I was not injured but have a neurological condition which makes me topple over after being on my hind legs for a short time. This pretty much excluded me from being a candidate for release back into the outdoors. Carol took me into her adoption program and is working to "friendly me up."
At first I was a little hissy but Christy noticed when I hissed, she could put her finger in my mouth. I never bit down on her so she started to pet me. I realized I LOVED to be petted.  However, I really need one person to devote time to only loving me and being patient with me too. I have some good friends at Carol's and I would love to go home with one if I could. I get along very well even with my condition...I can climb to the bottom platform of the adult room's big cat tree by myself. I get around just fine as long as you don't scare me and make me run. Please come and meet me. Maybe you'll fall for me and I might fall for you (in a good way).
