Meet Black Tie

BLACK TIE's Meet Your Match Feline-ality is PERSONAL ASSISTANT(Orange)

You're working on the computer? Let me press the keys. Reading the paper? I'll hold the pages down for you. Watching TV? I'll just plop on your lap so you can pet me. I love an orderly household, don't you? I'll help you with all your chores, and I'll help you relax when we're done. You'll wonder how you ever managed without me.

Interesting Stuff About BLACK TIE:

Not surprising that BLACK TIE was given this name. He, of course, looks like he is ready to go to a formal black tie event. Black Tie is what we call a 'Tuxedo' cat. According to Wikipedia, "A tuxedo cat is a bicolor cat with a white and black coat. The derivation of the term tuxedo cat is self-explanatory, as the animal appears to be wearing the type of black tie formal wear commonly known in the United States and Canada as a tuxedo. Most tuxedo cats are also black mask cats, a common name for felines who, due to their facial coloration, look as if they are wearing a black mask over their eyes, and often over their entire head. To be considered a true tuxedo cat, the feline's coloring should consist of a solid black coat, with white fur limited to the paws, belly, chest, throat, and often the chin."

Black Tie recently came back to the shelter after being in a home for approximately two years. He was returned because he was becoming more and more unhappy in the home where kids were now being very active, as kids often do when they get older. His adopter decided that he would be happier in an environment without kids; therefore, with great sadness he was returned to the shelter. His previous adopter wanted his next owner to know the following: "He is a very good cat. He's very quiet and likes affection especially when his people are in a calm mood." Further information on his personality was provided by a volunteer at CAT, "Happy guy, likes to be brushed, held, and petted. He’ll let you know when he’s in the mood for these gestures. Good natured, gets along with other cats, loves people, and a very easy-going companion cat."

At three years old, Black Tie is still a very playful guy. He can entertain himself or will indulge you if you want to play with him. He has the most awesome yellow sunshine eyes that pop against his black and white tuxedo wear. Black Tie is ready to find his 'forever' home. Don't delay, he's all dressed up with no where to go.
