12-2010
Emmy is doing great! Her goofy personality has completely emerged and we have a nice little routine going. Em is a head masher: basically she loves to rub her cute little face into her dog bed, our legs and all over her fur brother!! Man she is cute! Our newest discovery is that Emmy LOVES to lie next to our wood stove. She will even sleep there all night or until it burns out. Emmy continues to enjoy at least two walks a day and she and her foster brother play hard before sacking out hard next to the warm stove. She needs to get her exercise and play time with a fur sibling is pretty important to her but she is also an accomplished couch potato and just the best little cuddle bug ever! She loves to be right next to a warm body- human or dog.
Emmy is a smart little stinker and requires someone who is willing to be the pack leader and the pay off is just awesome because she is a loyal companion, a wonderful friend and will make you feel like the most loved person in the whole wide world!

10/2010 Hi again! It’s Emmy, the cutest little squirt in the whole world (I know, kinda embarrassing but those are the words straight from my mamas mouth…) I’m still waiting to find my perfect forever home… my mom is pretty picky about who I go to but she loves me SO SO much and I totally trust her opinion! She said that I can stay with them for as long as it takes because I deserve to find the BEST home ever! This past month we went camping, hiking, to the beach, I get to go into the woods and watch my dad climb rocks all the time and I’ve made some new doggie friends. I can be a bit head strong at times but all I need is to know that I have a pack leader that I can trust and who will love me, as soon as that is established I mellow out into the perfect companion to you and hopefully your other dog(s). If you’re looking for a cuddle bug, a playmate for your fur kids and a companion to go on adventures with then I AM YOUR GIRL! If you have any questions ask my mama because I will probably be out playing! 8/2010 Hi there! I’m Emmy! I’ve been with my foster family for about a month and man, are we having a great time! I am a fun loving, adventurous girl looking for a family that fits the same description! I have 2 fur siblings; one big old boxer buddy and one grumpy old Sheppard sister. My fur brother and I PLAY, Play, and play some more. We love to ZOOM around the yard together! Sometimes we just lie on the floor and chew on each other’s faces- it’s like doggie making out. My fur sister and I didn’t get along at first but my foster mom tells me that she is always a little grumpy when a new dog comes into the house! I won her over though! Mom said how could anyone not fall madly in love with me? The cool things that I love to do are taking long walks, going hiking, going to work with my foster mom and we have even gone camping which is pretty neat! Oh and this past weekend we went to the BEACH! I had a blast bouncing in the waves! I was an angel on the car ride and the perfect house guest at my foster grandparent’s house. My ideal family is looking for a constant loyal companion to do all sorts of fun stuff with. I promise to give you unconditional love if you promise me the same? Hello there, i'm Emmy. I just got back into rescue and I'm settling into my foster home nicely. I'm a very special girl, I think I should get that out up front, see, I don't speak "dog", I speak "human" so it's very easy to communicate with me, and trust me, I understand almost everything anyone says to me! I have been called "talented & gifted"... but don't worry, I don't let it go to my head. I'm a very humble, sweet girl. Anyone who meets me knows within 15 seconds that i'm the sweetest thing. I would love to have fur siblings, however I do like to chase small animals, so maybe dogs my size would be better, although, if you teach me something, I learn really fast so I can learn to get along with them, if someone shows me the rules. I don't ever chase them with my foster mom, I've met a few, and the first time I did try but mom told me I couldn't so the next time a met some little dogs, I just laid down and ignored them. Mom said that is what good girls do, so I looked at my foster mom and told her "i'm a good girl, and laid down".. because remember, I speak human :-) I have the most amazing manners ever, and listen very well, and walk wonderfully on leash. Mom has done a backpack walk with me, and I loved it! I love working for my people, and I am always up for learning new things. I do have a few questions i'd like to ask my potential family: 1. Have you owned a boxer before? 2. Do you like to be outdoors? 3. Do you like a challenge in life? 4. Are you a go getter? 5. Do you have a laid back personality? If you answered "yes" to any of these questions, I think you would be perfect for me! I love relaxing and just hanging out with my family, and I'm a very laid back girl...but at the same time, I love to get out and do things, and experience this wonderful world. If you think you have what it takes, put in an application for me. I'll be waiting to talk to with you, and I might let my foster mom say a few things too :-) With love and kisses, Emmy 8-26-09
Are you smarter than a 5th grader?? Well I would tend to say Miss Emmy is!!
Hi, I am currently Emmy's foster mom and feel there are some things you really need to know
about this amazing girl! First of all she waits so patiently during food time to be fed. She just lays down
and waits, then when her time comes she dances and runs to her spot, once her dish is put down she waits
for her kiss and pat on head to go ahead and eat. Also the other day my son put his
pizza down to go get the door and Emmy was in the room with him...Remembering he
left her in there with the pizza he ran back and found her just laying down on the other side
of the room-she never even tried to steel it!!! Can you believe that, but wait there is more!
I had bad sunburn and dropped my pen. I sighed and jokingly said 'Emmy will you please go get my pen
for me' I kid you not, she got off the couch, picked up my pen and brought it to me!!! My son was
watching and said NO WAY did she just do what I think she just did!!! I said yep, thats how
smart my Emmers is!! We laugh at her on a daily basis, she has such a goofy personality!
She is by far the smartest foster I have EVER had and whoever adopts this
girl is really getting the best friend you could ever ask for. She is so devoted to us and so well behaved,
very easily trainable and commmited 100% to her family. Just thought I would share this so you
can get a glimpse of how incredible this girl truly is :-)

Introducing the all new Emmy!! I am a fun loving gal that is looking for the perfect family.
I have went through heartworm treatment in my previous foster home and am now in a foster
home where I have become a totally new dog! I love to run and play. I am great at playing fetch.
I bring it back every time. Oh and guess what??? I LOVE water!! Especially the hose..
My foster family now goes on alot of hikes and that is just fine with me, I get so excited when
they grab my leash..They figure I am 2 years old and have learned all my basic commands and
some great manners. I am potty trained and also crate trained. I also have never chewed up anything
but my toys in the house. I am hoping for a fenced in yard just because I LOVE to run, run, run...but
would not be disappointed if you didn't have one as long as I had a way to release my energy every day.
I sleep in bed with the 14 year old girl that lives here with me...she doesn't mind my millions of kissses
that I have to give her every night and she giggles when I wake her up with them every morning!
If you think that I am the girl for you put in an application right away...I'll be waiting :-)
