Colin is an older Airedale/possibly German shepherd mixed-breed fellow who should be an ambassador for senior dogs! He came to Illinois Humane as a New Hope dog, rescued from animal control. He was weak-heartworm-positive, but has finished both treatments for heartworm and is feeling oh so much better! Colin is neutered, microchipped, up-to-date on shots and looking for loving, appreciative folks to spend his time with. This handsome, friendly fellow is about 7 years old He needs a training collar for walking as he is very strong and we dont think hes done much with the early part of his life except sit and move around a yard someplace without a lot of interaction. He is very good with other dogs and thoroughly enjoy visiting a nursing home with some Illinois Humane volunteers.
