How do you feel about dogs riding in a truck cap?
It's OK, in warm weather

They should never be in the back, even with a cap.

It's fine for some, but I'd never do it.

back of the truck, with a cap is fine as long as the dog is properly restrained. there are doggie harnesses that can be attached to the cap and the back by the seats that hold them in place, if you do a little work. also, the bed of the truck should have a rubber lining in it, so they dont slide. a harness that lets them lie down is best with the rubber lining. they dont slide so easily. its no more dangerous than riding in the truck or car, either way if someone hit you there could be injuries. properly restrained and no slip is ok.
