Welcome to Petfinder! I encourage you to use the search bar on the left side of the main page to find Beagles nearby your house that you can adopt. Very Happy Beagles and beagle mixes are VERY frequent everywhere, and much cheaper than a pet store pup or a breeder's pup, normally by at least $100.

Good luck!

Where are you located? I've just recently fallen in love with Beagles, and unfortunately I see them urgent all too often! Maybe we could help you find a beagle that really needs a new home! Very Happy

Welcome! Can you tell that we think a Beagle is the best pet for you? LOL.

On a side note: Why don't the polls ever work?

Hmm...what qualities are you looking for? What is your life like - quiet/ sedentary, or very active?
Can you handle the howling/baying/barking of a beagle? Do you mind a dog who's whole attention is fixed on whatever scent he's got, rather than on you?
I would personally research both breeds and see which is more compatible. Beagles are great little dogs but drive some people nuts with their behavior. You say you have a Corgi...is he/she a laid back Corgi or a drive ya nuts wanting to play Corgi?
Welcome to the boards, and if beagles are 'right' for you, you should have no problem finding one in need! Good luck!

I knew there was a reason I liked you so much Wink I am fighting with Craig right now because I feel in love with a beagle you posted number 49036. Craig keeps telling me know but I truly am in love

They are definately runners so if you do get one be sure you have plenty of time to excersise your dog.

It all really depends on the dog, but with proper training and a good leash when they're outside a Beagle should be alright. Just be aware, they're VERY noisy when they're excited!
