Here are some of the Senior types at my shelter who for some reason get skipped over and over. They've all been my Pic of the week at some point. Who do you think will find a forever home this month?
Agatha 14y female DSH Calico (in temp. care)- November Signature Pet
Agatha is a sweet older lady who has special needs. She has thyroid problems and therefore must be on medicine for the rest of her life. She is a mellow, cuddly cat who has become a favorite among volunteers. As soon as you open the cage door she greets you and buries her head in your arms so you will pick her up. Being an older cat she needs a quieter home that will take care of her and allow her to live out her life in a comfy home instead of a cage at the shelter. Agatha wants to be your one and only cat. How can you say no to those beautiful eyes?
Irene 12y female DSH Calico (in temp. care)- November Pet of the Week
Irene is a beautiful short hair calico who is very affectionate. She is good with children of all ages and dogs. Irene is also a four paw declaw. Irene enjoys being near you and she loves to lay on your lap. Come by and see the advantages of adopting an older pet and give Irene the new home she is looking for.
Sweetheart 10y female Black DSH- November Pet of the Week
Sweetheart is a very sweet and quiet girl who loves attention. She has actually made herself at home at our shelter and shares an office with some members of our staff and her friend Barton. She is great with other cats. Sweetheart is looking for a home with children ten years of age or older. Sweetheart must be adopted with Barton. Now all Sweetheart and Barton need is a family to call their own.
Milo 9y male Orange Tabby DSH- November Pet of the week
Milo is a boy who is a great cat. He is very friendly and enjoys greeting the visitors who come to our shelter. Milo is also good with other cats and he has made friends with another cat at our shelter named Silkie. Milo tends to be the dominant cat. Milo is looking for a home with kids over 16 years. Are you the right family for this great boy?
Creole 10y female Tortie DSH- 1/14/05 Pet of the Week
Creole is a lovable girl who craves attention. She came to our shelter because one of her family members developed allergies. Her previous owners say she is the “perfect lap cat.” She warms up to new people quickly and loves to be petted. She will roll over on her side and begin to purr. Creole is two paw declawed, good with children, and good with other cats. Why don’t you come by and let her show you just how much love she has to offer?
Raina 10y female Black DSH- 1/17/05 Pet of the Week
Rhoda and Raina are two girls who where very well bonded in their previous home. They came to us because their owner could no longer care for them. They are both very affectionate and like to sit on your lap and be petted. They are also very curious and like to explore. They are looking for a quiet home with children over the age of twelve. They would prefer a new home in which they can stay together (not required). Do you have room in your heart and home for one of both of these two beautiful ladies?

Barton 11y male Buff Tabby DSH- 2/11/05 Pet of the Week
Barton is an outgoing boy who loves everyone and thinks everyone is there to pet him. He has actually made himself quite at home at our shelter and shares an office with some of our staff members and his friend Sweetheart. He enjoys helping with all the paper work that goes on and meeting everyone who comes in to adopt. He has been waiting patiently for his new family to come. He is two paw declawed and great with other cats. He is looking for a new home with children ten years of age or older. Barton must be adopted with Sweetheart. Now all Barton and Sweetheart need is a family to call their own.
Morganite 8y female Calico DSH- 2/25/05 Pet of the Week
Morganite is the type of cat that would sleep at the foot of your bed and lay with you on the couch. She is very quiet, yet affectionate. She is a curious girl who enjoys being petted and quickly shows her delight by beginning to purr. When she looks up at you with those beautiful green eyes, you can not help but fall in love with her! |

| I tried to vote for Milo but got an SQL error. I thought Morganite maybe also. (Baron is one of the most beautiful cats I've seen.) Good luck to all of them. |

don't worry! all of my polls are doing that to me, but if you log out and check, you'll see that it regestered the vote anyways.
Barton is a sweet cat. He's a little on the pudgy side. His gneral moto is "If that's a bowl of food, you're my new best friend." He has a very loud purr. He's one of our office cats, with Sweetheart. I still don't understnad why they're at the shelter except that they're a pair animals and very strongly bonded. Sweetheart is a nice girl too, but a bit more catious and you have to sit in the office for a few minutes before she warms up to you. After that she turns into a lap full of happy kitty. |
