Im sorry to all of those I "lied" to. I really am here to help the animals. Some of you (you know who you are) are holding something against me that I had no control over. I am here to ask for forgiveness and to start out new.

So here it goes.

Hey everybody,
Im Ashleigh and I live in Wickenburg Arizona. I have one dog named Sabel that I got from a shelter almost 6 years ago, and I just rehomed another to a great family,I also have a cockatiel named Skylar, 4 water turtles Squishey Lucy Phyer and Buger, 3 tortoises Tori Toren and Torence. Im also in the process of trying to find homes for 2 bunnies, 1 frog and 2 toads. I have been taking strays of the streets since I was little, along with rehabing birds. My boyfriend and I share 11 Rattys (all at his house). I have made a few mistakes in the past and I hope to put them all behind me with your guyses help. Thank you to those who read this and I hope some of you can find it in your heart to help me become better rather than make me give up all together. Im sorry and Would like all of those I made mad to forgive me.

I'll forgive you, because 1) I didn't keep up with the mayhem and 2) Everyone deserves a few chances.

Good luck, and please be understanding if you get the cold shoulder at first...people here care very deeply about animals, and sometimes that makes it hard to forgive things.

I read the thread, and while disappointed, since you were willing to tell the truth and ask to be forgiven, I'll give you a chance. However, please understand that the worst way to offend someone is to lie to them. it blows all trust to the wind, and it makes it hard for people to forget and move on. You seem very young, and I am telling you this not to snipe at you, but to show you what will happen in your life as you get older and people find out you have lied. it takes some time for trust to be worked back into that equation, that's all. Hang in there, try to be honest from now on, and eventually the ice will thaw.

There's nothing to forgive or not. You know as well as anyone else that we are all very passionate about animals so lies about them aren't going to be tolerated well.

Anyone that's mad will forgive in time.

The only reason I lied and changed my s/n befor is because estrella was bashing on me for somethng I had no control over. So I decied to start over. I was doing sooo good for a while and when estrella started in on me i freaked and didnt want to have to start over again. So I did the only thing I could thnk of lie.

From my experience, Estrella doesn't "bash" people for no reason.

then dont lie in the future. its that simple. you are starting to fight back with the people you just asked to forgive you. understand, as I said, that forgiveness will take some time.

as far as Estrella's comment and post, I agree with her. maybe you collect because you feel the need, and get in over your head. thats a typical sign of a collector. maybe you should step away from rescue for a while, and do some deep personal evaluation on why you keep bringing in animals. just remember hon, that they are living creatures too. If you really want to help them, understand that you can only do so much, and stop getting in over your head. or step away for a while, and think about what you do, and have done, and then decide.

none of this was a snipe. it is only in your best interests that I posted it.
