I voted yes, but I think I’d want to make sure that the person from the rescue was going to be fairly diplomatic, because I’d be concerned that if the speaker was very outspoken about the evils of breeding, someone might get offended and end up turned off of adoption altogether, or worse, if the parents of one of the kids has let their dogs breed, it might create a division between that kid and yours. But if they were just going to talk in general about rescues and shelters and how homeless animals make good pets, then I think it’s probably a good idea. Please keep in mind that I don’t have kids and it’s been forever since I’ve been in school, so I really have no idea what is appropriate any more. Razz

I think that it is good to educate children about volunteering and taking good care of their animals. Smile

Yes I would love to have this done at any childs school I think that it is important and will bring up the adoption rates
