My daughter is slowly coming out of her Barbie phase...thank dog. Or maybe it's just that I no longer will buy her Barbie clothes and books and stuff...I just couldn't take it any longer! I will NEVER let her see what Cats posted...that is just wrong...lol!
As far as the toy...with Jez (GSD) that toy would last forever...she takes such good care of her things...lol! Buddy (Pekingese) doesn't "do" toys...he just doesn't understand the concept. But Sparky, Craig's heeler mix...he would have that toy destroyed in WAY less than an hour.
I had Sparky over at my house recently and he grabbed on of Jez's toys and shredded it...she had the most horrified look on her face... ...like "MOM! WHAT IS HE DOING?!?!?!?!?!" Poor girl...I had to go get her a replacement... |

The girls can destroy and plush toy in about 20 minutes!! I buy them really cheap ones anyway because those 20 minutes are heaven to them |

| I have to admit with most of my bunch it would be around for a long time. Speckles has a groundhog that grunts and she has had that for about 3 years. I bought some cheap squeaky bones and except for the squeaker dieing, it is still in tact. Wilson will "violate" the stuffed animals to no end. He won't try to "violate" my female dogs but leave stuffed animals around and look out. He is a "violating" machine when it comes to stuffed animals. But the reast of my bunch is great with stuffed animals. I guess my bunch is the exception to this. |

Seconds. The moment this toy touched my dogs' mouths it would be destroyed. I finally gave up on stuffed toys when I bought a Fat Cat Inc. "Yankers" Dog Toy, which is marketed as "the ultimate tug-o-war toy" and is claimed to have held up in testing to 1/2 ton of serious tugging.
See it here: http://store.yahoo.com/fatcatinc/instyadogtoy.html
Cool toy, but it lasted well under 3 minutes, and they hadn't even got to the tugging part yet!
When I got my first puppy. I was amazed at the multitude of terribly unsafe products on the shelves for dogs. |

It would last quite a while in my house. Bishop LOVES his babies (teddy bears). He carries them around and shows them off to people. Then, when he is done showing them off, he slowly ans carefully rips the hair out of the teddy bear. Just a little bit at a time. It's kind of a disturbing love-hate relationship he and his toys have |

Ilana,
Yes Wilson is a very bad boy when it comes to stuffed animals. He does it mainly to the bigger bear sized stuffed animals. I have the groundhog that grunts and he doesn't "violate" that one. Just the bigger stuffed animals. We got two new fosters over the weekend and their former foster mommies at the shelter bought each of them a bear a piece to bring with them and we have to make sure they are kept up or he will "make them mine!!!!!" Crazy dog.
This is him helping my dh with email. Looking for one from his former mommy that was shipped to Iraq in June. We have heard from her periodically. |

lmao, really old thread.
with lucky it would have been "gutted" or "destuffed" in minutes. with chance it would last forever (so far), he hasn't shown any indication of being destructive yet. |

Bozy's poop sounds like Mack's.
I always say that if we ever had to go through his poop for some reason it would be like a scavenger hunt. He will eat anything!
A toy with pom poms would never last in our house! |
