I'm just curious which product everyone thinks works best. Buggy has flea allergies -- they come in on us during the summer months here, she's indoor only -- so we keep her on Advantage. I've been thinking about switching to Revolution, but I'm not sure. Thanks in advance!

We switched from Advantage to Revolution quite sometime ago and have been super happy with the change Mr. Green

The nice thing about revolution is that it also takes care of mites, worms and the fleas. Our Vet calls it the "barn cat disinfectant" Laughing Laughing It also I find works faster and longer.

I only use Frontline Plus. It takes care of fleas and ticks, is waterproof, and I only have to use it every 3 months or so. The protection lasts a really long time, even down here in Texas where fleas and ticks are always heavy.

I dont like Advantage because it dosent take care of ticks, and it isnt water proof.

I dont like Revolution because I dont want to dose my dog with that much insecticide all at once. My dogs have never gotten sarcoptic mange or ear mites, even with all the fosters I bring in, and I wont give them unnecessary insecticide to prevent something that they arent in danger of getting. Plus, my vet dosent recommend it. He will sell it, but it isnt his preferred choice of heartworm preventative.

I've used revolution ever since my old dog had mange a few years ago. It works well, and it's cheaper than buying a flea repellent and a heartworm preventative separately.

We used Revolution but have changed over to ProTicAll. Doggy seems to be a tad allergic and the ProTicAll has been as effective as the Revolution.

Hello everyone. I haven't posted here in quite some time. Actually, I have hardly ever posted. But I don't use any tick or flea medication on Oscar. We have been extremilly lucky and haven't ever had fleas or ticks around here. We have lived here since 2001 and we have never seen a flea or tick on Oscar. I better knock on wood.

The shelter where I volunteer uses both, but I think we tend to have more Revolution in stock. I've only ever used Revolution, but was given 3 months of Frontline, free, for my cat. I'll be trying that soon.

I'm also in Texas and found Revolution to work just fine. At a reduced dose, I can even use it on guinea pigs and rabbits. I've also used Advantage on both. They are off-label uses, but do work. I CANNOT use Frontline on those animals, because it can cause seizures, even fatalities.

I've only just had to start using a flea control we've been very lucky the last 2 years and just started taking our dogs to the dog park this summer where they got them.. I'm using Frontlin Plus right now.. they still itch a little bit but i'm still processing getting them out of hte hosue and the back yard.. i'm happy with it though. the itching has gone down by 90% within the first 2 days and actually now that i think about it they just got their 2nd does last week and i've only seen the occasional itch. so i'm goign to stick with what's working for me.. Front line Plus!

I use Revolution because Zarathustra gets ear mites without it.
