Waldo is an affectionate fellow. He is a bit on the older side but he still deserves to live out the rest of his life in a loving home where he can be spoiled. All of our dogs are either spayed or neutered. They have been given a distemper and bordetella vaccination, flea treatment, and have been wormed. Since our adoption fee is so low ($35) why not consider a tax free donation. Your support is a key ingredient in the continued success of our shelter. An application must be completed and approved if you would like to adopt a dog from the Story County Animal Shelter. All our animals are adoptable with a twenty five dollar adoption bond. Our viewing is from one to four pm everyday except Sunday. I would make a wonderful addition to any home because I know how to love you no matter what ! Rescued animals make great pets because they are grateful to have a roof over their heads and someone who loves them. If you do not choose a pet from our facility choose one from another one. Only you can make the difference.

Tucker is 9 years old. He is well house trained. He has not lived with children, but is a friendly dog (so maybe not small children?). We are told he does not like all dogs, especially some males. Tucker lost his home because his owner became homeless. He is only $20 to adopt.

DOB October, 2001. Sweet older gentleman (who does not act his age!) Totally a house dog, good with dogs, excellent in house. Doesn't lay on furniture, won't steal food, doesn't run. Perfect...except he doesn't like cats. Nice Boy!! Good for senior citizen, easy to handle. I'm in a foster home, call first!!

SISSY'S GREATEST NEED IS FOR MEDICATION ANGELS!
Currently Sissy takes 5 different medications a day. A months supply of these medications runs HHBR approx $60-$75 as some of them have to be specially compounded for her direct needs.
