This small, rural shelter needs more rescue help. I am driving 3 hours back down there after being there on Thursday of last week in an attempt to keep them from having to euth for space. If there are any rescues between Mt. Gilead, OH and Toledo, OH or even Detroit, MI. that want to be a partner with this shelter, call them to make the connection. We have volunteers who love to help this shelter and will do our best to get you dogs from there.

All rescue partners must agree to fully vet the dogs before placement or pay the vetting fees the shelter vet charges before the dogs can leave. Vet contacts must be given to the dog warden and adoption paperwork on file.
Currently 6 dogs are urgent status as they are over full!
