Post subject: Great news I want to share |

| I was offered a promotion at work. It is full time days, Monday through Friday, on-call every fourth weekend. I am so happy for the opportunity, especially given my lack of experience. The person who promoted me said she based her offer on my charting and after speaking with other employees and residents. I know there were two others who applied for the position, I did not apply for it, she came to me. I know that it will be a challenge and I will miss my family, but I don't know if another opportunity would come like this, at least not for a long time. Anyways, before taking the position I wanted to make sure that I had everyone here taken care of. My daughter goes to a babysitter, and she is the only one babysat. I found her on Care.com, so I looked at her profile again to see if she would be willing to do anything else. Then I talked to her. Starting next week when I start full time, the babysitter will be coming to my house to take care of my daughter, light housekeeping, and taking care of the dog. This is better than I ever could have hoped for. |

Wonderful news! Obviously you earned the position through your spectacular work, whether you applied or not.
I'm glad you were able to find an amazing carer, too! |
