Since 2010, Washington Metropolitan Area Ferret Outreach (WMAFO) has rescued and placed over 40 Ferrets in loving homes. WMAFO Director, Bonnie Russell, has owned Ferrets for 12 years and talks about the joy and dedication of being a Ferret caregiver:
