Hello.

I'm new to this site, and hope to provide help to others, as well as recieve it myself. As a lover of most every animal, it breaks my heart to see them in shelters, and if I could, I would give them all a home! But, alas, I cannot.

I joined Petfinder in hopes of finding a dog that fits very specific requirements of being small, hypoallergenic, and cat and child friendly.

I've found a marvelous canidate, now if only I could convince my parents to allow the animal into our lives.

I already have a cat, Waffles, who we took in off the street. Now she's a nineteen year old, spoiled rotten feline. But I love her to death.

I'm twenty-six, going on twenty-seven, and looking for a pet of my own. But since I still live with my parents, mostly to help care for my ninety-five year old grandmother, I need their permission before I can bring a dog into our home.

I hope this is a friendly a site as it seems, and I look forward to getting to know you all!

Welcome!

You may not get much response but that is due to Petfinder, not because you are being ignored.

Too many of us have problems just being able to get on here to even read posts. Petfinder, Animal Planet and Discovery do not care.

Thanks for the welcome! And while I was browsing topics, I saw the one about having trouble with posting and such. So I understand if I don't get alot of responses.
