Mr. Green Part 3 in my series, “Exploring the human-companion animal bond”: Pregnant Coco, a two-year old, black and white, Tuxedo cat surrendered to a Virginia animal shelter that did not have the capability to care for her and her soon-to-be-born kittens was scheduled for euthanization if another organization could not take her in. When King Street Cats volunteers, Jill and Frank, rescued pregnant Coco, they saved an entire family.
