I'm at the ICU in another state and saw this computer sitting in the waiting room. So, I thought I'd ask for some prayers/healing thoughts for my sister.

She would have a cow if she knew I was doing this. But ...

She's very ill with peritonitis. They don't know why. She's in and out of lucidity.

Please send her some prayers.

Thanks, everyone. Yesterday my sister was moved from the ICU to a medical floor. So, she's improved a lot in the past week. But she still has a long road to go.

We still don't know what is causing the infection. They had to stabilize her, first. Now they can try to find out what's causing all this. So there are more icky, invasive tests ahead for her.

Thanks for everyone's thoughts and prayers.

I'm so glad your sister is doing at least a little better. Hope they can figure out what is wrong soon.

Thanks, everyone.

My sister is improving in general although she''s had some set-backs. The antibiotics stopped working, so they had to start some new ones. They still don't know exactly what is causing all the various infections, but they're dealing with each new one and each new location, as they identify it.

She is in physical therapy; having to learn how to get up and walk, again, after being in bed for so long.
