| Actually, the cat we want to transport to upstate New York around 3/20/12 is located in Cedar Key, FL, but we'll deliver Gray Baby in her new carrier to you when you're leaving to drive north. Gray Baby is a loving little silver tabby female who was left in Cedar Key when her previous owners moved away. We've found a new home for her in upstate New York, but we need to find a way to transport her there as quietly as possible from Cedar Key to a mutually agreeable meeting point along your journey where her new caregivers can meet you and take possession of her. This will be Gray Baby's first car trip, so if you're familiar with cats, you know that initially you can expect an hour or two of whining and crying before she settles to sleep for the rest of the trip. She'll be very frightened by the change in her environment. We want her kept inside of her carrier for the entire journey to avoid any possible escape and the terrible thought of her lost someplace that would be totally strange to her. We realize that this is a big request for anyone except a true cat lover, but if we don't ask, we'll never know if there's someone willing to help relocate this sweet and previously abandoned cat.
