Winter in the Colorado Rockies is MILD. It has been in the 50s w/ the sun shining almost every day. Love it! _________________

It's been like spring - we've broken rainfall totals, had flooding, and temps in the 40s and 50s. Although that is supposed to change - it's only going to be in the 20s this week. We've been well above normal temps and everything is a muddy mess. I never thought I would say this but I am really ready for all this to freeze! _________________ Show me your horse and I will tell you who you are. ~Unknown |

NewHampshire - one day it's 45 and rainy the next it's 15 with wind chills below zero. We've had a few snow falls that brought out the plows but it's gone with in a few days.
One day I did have to take my shoes off to cross the parking lot at work - sheer ice from freezing rain- I set my ice coffee down to take off my shoes and it slid about 6 inches all on it's own.
Very cold tonight - single digits |

| No sign of winter here in Southern Cal! It's been mid 80's to low 90's since last year. Hate to think what July-Sept.'s going to be like if it's this hot now! And no humidity or precipitation, so we know there will be water rationing again this summer... |

We are actually getting a bit of snow today-- about 1 inch is supposed the max. By the way people talk you’d think it was a blizzard. Then it is supposed to stop and start raining like crazy on the weekend (our usual winter). The kids are excited-- they actually get to use their new snow boots.
By some miracle the kids school stayed open-- last time we had a little dusting like this they closed-- such wimps around here. _________________

It's been bitter cold here in NH the last few days.
Had a pipe burst in the back bedroom tonight. Just finnished sopping up an inch of water off my pine floor - thank goodness I like the distressed look. No heat for the night except electric space heaters. Repairman coming tomorrow am - that means late for work and I can't seem to reach anyone to let them know. Also, now that every towel in the house is soaked and sooty I have no hot water to wash them in and my dryer broke over a month ago and I've been to busy to replace it. This winter is not looking so good right now. |
