I got:
* Jimmy Buffet CDs
* Keith Urban DVD
* Chance calendar
* CO. Pug Rescue calendar
* Chance mug
* "Remove Before Flight" keychain to replace my worn out one
* Body wash
* Some Kindle books
* "On Talking Terms With Dogs: Calming Signals" book by Turid Rugaas
* Scented soap
And I also got something I didn't ask for --- sick.Confused

Different neighbors brought by homemade goodies: amaretto cake, fudge, caramel corn and some kind of chocolate covered soft toffee thing that is really good!

Chance got:
* A music setup for "her" room - a.k.a. the living room
- A 16 GB Zune for her dog music (because someone at a large retail chain forgot to put a new price sticker on it so I got it for less than 1/2 price)
- USB speakers
- Zune Docking station

* Pair of leather gloves so she can chew on us
* Jolly Ball to replace the one she tore in half
* Rubber play ground ball - lasted about 5 minutes
* Squeaky tennis ball
* An animated dog that sings "I wish you a Merry Dogmas", barks and flaps his ears - from my parents, not a toy but one of the cutest things we've seen!
* Bear stuffy from her BFF Jonny and Jonny's roommate Samson
* Kong squeaky barbell from Maury kitty's people
* Our neighbor with the Plott Hound has something for Chance which she'll bring over when she can sneak it past her dog and the dog their sitting for the week.

And Chance got rocket butt from eating something at Jonny's she shouldn't have on Christmas Eve. So today she's getting slippery elm "tea."

I got a sweater and a foot massager, and some bath stuff. The cat got a stocking filled with catnip. She was running around with it, rolling around on it, etc. I think she had just as good a Christmas as the humans in our family.

From my sisters: DVD of season 3 of Castle

From my parents: an ornament, a set of sheets, cash

From my grandmother: cash

From my husband: A Breyer horse I saw a couple weeks ago at a store that I really like (he went back and got it for me) and some socks (which I asked for).

From my uncle and aunt: a set of hand holiday hand towels and an ornament.

From my husband's sister and her husband: a Walmart gift card (for both of us, socks for my husband and candy that I won't eat and actually most of it my husband won't eat either so he's taking it to work and letting whoever there who wants it have it).

I have very little family left; my son, his wife and my granddaughter is it. They gave me a picture of Kaleigh in a silver frame, and a bunch of other pictures I have to frame and hang. Lots of hugs and kisses from her too.

Very Happy

one of the oddest gifts was from my boss. I wasnt expecting a gift at all; but he sent me 3 boxes of totally sugar-free candy since he knows I'm a diabetic, and it tastes like real candy!!! not like the usual sugar-free candy with an aftertaste.

My son also rescued me after the tire blew on my car (I mean BLEW...I thought it was a gunshot, honestly) and I almost wrecked. managed to save it and got it off the road, but the tire is shredded and the rim ruined.
He came out and put the donut tire on, and brought it home to me. I had bought insulin and took a cab home so I could refrigerate it. although after Christmas, he is going to get me a tire and rim and put it on for me.
I know how to change a tire, but couldnt take the time or the insulin would be ruined. plus my left arm is fairly useless anyway

Smile

I had an "odd" gift also- forgot to mention it in my original post. My bf's mom forgot about it and when all the unwrapping was done and ran up to retrieve it from the attic.

It was a digital weather thermometer. Basically, there's a small sensor you install outside and it beams a signal to the thermometer inside. There are 2, so I can have one upstairs and another downstairs. I thought it was a pretty creative gift. Very Happy

Husband decided to use his Fry's gift certificate to get a juicer. Since we both gained a lot of weight since we got married, I promised to go on a modified juice diet with him Sad I"m phasing out caffeine right now. If you have a favorite, healthy, juice recipe I'd love to have it! Or recipes for the left over sludge...
