We are requesting whatever good luck vibes, well-wishes, prayers, good luck dances, etc. anyone would be willing to send out that the ranch/vacation rental property in Montana we are in love with doesn't have any offers on it until August 2012!

The ranch/vacation rental we are in love with is perfect for Chance!
It's on a huge amount of acreage up in the foothills outside of town but only about a 20-minute drive to town.
Far enough from any neighbors that any fireworks set off will not terrify our fireworks-phobic Chance! Gourmet kitchen and enough room that we could finally have hubby's family over for meals and pay them back for all the home cooked meals they have made for us.
A BBQ grill so Chance and hubby could grill which is one of Chance's favorite things.
Multi-level decks that Chance can snooze on without getting chewed on by ants and other bugs.
The living room has a patio door Chance could lay in front of and sleep like her picture window at home.
It even has mature trees and lots of grassy areas for Chance to play ball on.

The ranch has been for sale since at least 2005 and the vacation rental property manager said she doesn't think there will be an offer made on the property anytime in the next year since there are a couple of properties right there next to it that are almost 3x's the acreage and less expensive.
The price for the ranch was reduced in 2009 and there have been 0 offers on it.

We are on the schedule but she told us to have backup lodging just in case because if it does sell, the buyers are not obligate to honor any rental contracts.

We have a back-up place lined up and another that should be lined up by tomorrow.

I know, why 2 places?

The 1st place requires us to cancel by May 1. Don't know if that will be far enough out from our vacation date to know for sure about the ranch McMansion.

The 2nd place only requires a 2-week cancellation minus very small fee.

Good vibes, however NOT happy about it...
That means you will never come to CO to see me or Chunk and that makes Chunk very, very cranky. Shocked
