Hi, well to start off with I am Shannon and new to this! Me and Charlee (My chihuahua) hope to make friends! It was a breezy Feb. day of 2009 when I walked into pets mark. You may think I am crazy but I new that day someone special was waiting on me....his name just happened to be little boy (which I changed it to charlee...yup with two e's  He was in a cage all bye him self. His tag said he was three years old and of course from Tri County. Tri County comes every Friday and Saturday to pets mark. Thank God for them. I asked why he was in a cage all bye himself and they said because he likes to climb out! I found that cute. Later they started explaining how he was found on the streets in Bessemer city. I was so heart broken. He was nothing but skin and bones. I had always wanted a chihuahua and I kept wondering how someone could leave such a cute, sweet dog on the streets. Anyways, I couldn't keep my eyes off of him. I just knew he was the one for me. I didn't even look at any other dogs that day! Me and my fiance went and looked around and before I knew it we had charlee and buggy full of supplies and we were on our way home. My life has not been the same since. I wish I could share a picture b/c he is my baby, please let me know if you know how to put a pic on here plz.! So leave comments and share your stories with me!!!!  |
