I work with a cat trap / neuter / release non-profit organization in Puerto Rico who is working to stabilize & care for the street cat population of Old San Juan. Through our work we meet many beautiful cats & kittens who would make wonderful pets for people. We run an adoption program within Puerto Rico with PetFinder, but being a caribbean island, we have an all year kitten season, meaning an all year round task to find loving homes for them. To do our best for every cat & kitten we meet, we need to think bigger & look towards animal shelters on the US mainland to help us. We would welcome advice, information & help to aid us make connections with animal shelters on the US mainland with whom we could discuss setting up an adoption program.
