We met her and it didnt go so well. She tried to bite me and my husband! She's so undersocialized that she will fall to peices when she gets rehomed. I walked her out of site of her owner and she deficated all over herself and was trying to attack my legs and feet!
So yea we can't handle that honestly we wouldnt have the tools to deal with those issues. Espically when she bites so hard that she draws blood then runs behind her owner! |

Wow, that is too bad. I had to go back and reread your original post thinking this dog was from a rescue or a shelter and maybe had an unsavory or unknown past. Reading that it was a rehoming from the original (I am assuming original) owner, is alarming. Wonder why this dog is so unstable? Do you know why they are giving her up?
Sorry it didn't go well for you. |

She was never socilized we think. She was bought when she was a pup and is 6 years old and the owner even said oh well she doesnt get out in public much. UGH!!! They were giving her up cause she is freaked out by the twins they have that are learning to walk. |

| That is so sad. It sounds like she was never even socialized with them. Even if they don't take her out in public, that shouldn't have much to do with how she reacted if she was treated as a family member at home. I don't understand how they could have her for 6 yrs and then give her up for such a dumb reason. |

We feel the same on all those statements I just dont get it. Maybe we are crazy but a dog is not just a status symbol or just something to have be jsut there! |

| Like the people that get a dog and then keep it caged all the time or tied up outside. Why? Just so you can say you have a pure bred whatever? Argh... |

Oh my. I am sorry for you and doubly sorry for the poor dog. IIRC, the owner was upset at how the trainer described this dog to you and it sounds like the trainer was probably right on. (or I may have you confused with another poster) |

You know we are thinking the same thing. He was so upset but the dork ball trainer called to tell how sorry she was to say what she did. We are thinking that he must have gotten so mad at her that she called to apease him and thats wrong of her as well. |
