very cool site. although, on the featured pet page, if you click to send your pet's story, it stays on the same page. what am I doing wrong?

well, I tried sending it, but in case it didn't work, here it is again.
we got our German shepherd mix, named Jasmine, AKA Jazz, about 1 year ago from the local kill shelter. she was an owner surrender due to sickness involving hospitalization, and the family did not know if the owner would survive, and they didn't want to deal with her. she was about 3 months old at the time. her estimated birthday is 2-4-09, so right now she is a little over a year.
we were looking for a dog after our 12 year old GSD/border collie died. mom wanted rescue, so rescue we did. we looked at shelters and rescue groups. finally mom found Jazz on petfinder.com, and we went to meet her. we took her home that day.
Jazz is a very playful, goofy dog. she does a weird thing every time she sees a dog. she crouches down and flattens herself on the road, and when the dog gets close enough, she POUNCES as if the dog had no idea she was there! everybody thinks it is adorable, but Im trying to teach her to stay down, and to calmly meet other dogs.
we have done a lot of training with Jazz. she has her 'star puppy'(AKC puppy equivalent of CGC, but I doubt it holds as much weight.) and we want to get her CGC this year. she has taken agility class too. she loved it. I love taking her for walks, and she loves getting her lovings.
Im so lucky to have her, and she has become 'my dog' over the year we have had her.
