| I think Seperation Anxiety is something that a lot of people could use advice on. |

A topic on disaster preparedness would be great too. Ideas on how to get the community educated on it along with potential involvement maybe groups making kits etc.
Maybe even a contest after educating us with an expert to see how people get their communities involved. Win win for everyone then. |

What about something like, bringing a new pet home, or living with a dog/cat? _________________

I like all the ideas presented so far.
Especially the pet loss thread. its nice to know you have people who understand what your going through.
I think having threads about different animals such as horses, small kritters, reptiles would be good. I saw there was a small animals thread not to long ago.
Ideas about how to build your old pet cage, proper care, ect.
I also think threads about training are really helpful! |

| Maybe "Introducing your new cat/dog/bird/rabbit/etc. to your current dog/cat Anonymous get the idea". Intros are very different for different species. I'm thinking of the non cat/dog intros especially since we have a mean parrot to deal with. |

I'd love to see an expert (or panel of experts) talk about what is needed to get into the sport(s) - like cost, time, training, and what type of dog (temperment/personality) would be most suited. Also include links to major organizations for those who develop an interest and want to pursue the sport(s). |
I've been thinking about this also! I would love to get my Penny Girl in agility. She's a whippet/terrier mix and I think she'll be great at it. I just don't know where to start. |

We aren't trying for subtle hints are we? Everyone has such great ideas and all I can add is maybe a couple more about cats. _________________ *Sig under construction* |

Oh no it's doing that thing again. My name showed up too. I was a little disturbed at first, but then I remembered.
I agree, though, a new pet introduction thing would be good.
Maybe, also, with all the pet product recalls- an awareness thread of all the recalls happening, the brands, etc. Also, maybe for consumer awareness the dangers of consuming foreign made things like the chicken jerky treats.

There are alot of great ideas for threads- too many to name (agility, allergies, foster, etc etc). |

| I also like the idea of discussing Senior Pets. I have 3 Senior Citizens right now. This season of pet ownership presents its own unique challenges. We can all learn from each other. |

| Yes, it's doing that again. I have no idea why or what I did. It was NOT intentional. I'm not planning on any intros any time soon. I'm expecting to have to take my mom's parrot full time in the near future. |

| Hey, why is MY screen name in the middle of those posts? This is the first time that I've visited this thread. And what does it mean... it's doing that again? |
