There is a pink wooden bird in the lobby of the main lodge at the resort we went to on vacation this year. My siblings and I would routinely argue about whether or not this bird is a flamingo or a duck. I say flamingo, although I think we should just call it a fluck.
What does everyone think? Flamingo or duck?

Good question! I voted for Duck... because of the feet. Neat bird- thanks for sharing! _________________

I vote duck because flamingos have long legs. _________________

Maybe it's a flaming duck?
I'm not a bird expert but it's a very pretty carving. |

I still say neither. Neck too long for duck. Head shape wrong for flamingo... Goose or swan. _________________

| If you'd look at the link to pictures in my first posting, you'd see it's neck isn't too long at all! It's a sculpture of an Indian Runner Duck! |

duck....duck...duck....duck... GOOSE.
ok, kindergarten flashback.
I think it's a duck. Flamingos have more of a curved bill, that definitely has a duck face.
does it quack? that'd be a sign too. _________________

Okay, quit tormenting the5thbeatle. It is an Indian Runner Duck. If you look at her link, you will see that is what it is. _________________
