Post subject: It has made landfall (on a personal note) |

It is eerily quiet now as this hurricane makes landfall. It is this quietness that always makes me anxious. Being from Florida, I have felt it many times. There is an anxious feeling of not knowing what is going to happen. It is at this point all we can do is wait and pray. We know the rescue operations will be in full force just as soon as this thing passes over and it safe.
Several times I have been online with rescuers from South Florida waiting with them until they lost power. This last time with Fay they waited with me until our power went out. The main fear all the way around is how will our animals do. But with God's help we all have gotten through it.
Now once again I find myself waiting and anxious.
We are sending up prayers for those in this hurricanes path. |
