If you are coming to or through Houston with your small mammal, bird, reptile, or rarer exotic and haven't found housing that will allow your pet, we can help! We have years of experience with all kinds of non-traditional pets and can offer housing for a few weeks until Gustav has passed. This service is absolutely free unless your animal needs to stay longer than a few weeks, and after that we only ask that you help cover the exact costs of the animal's care.
If you plan on bringing an animal to us, please call first. We will need to get information from you about your animal in order to be ready. We are not requiring your animals to be current on vaccinations (like ferrets), but please let us know if they aren't up-to-date so we can keep them safely apart from other pets.
We are LIMITED on our extra caging, so that is first come - first served. If you can bring even a temporary cage or tank, that would be great!
