My SO is 7 years older than me, but sometimes it feels like we are a complete generation apart! (Though sometimes I blame that on a cultural differences...I'm from sunny CA and he is a frigid New Englander! Wink )

My hubby is just a little less than two years older than me. I just turned 28, and he will be 30 next month.

A couple of days after his birthday, we will celebrate our 8th wedding anniversary, and 12th "years together" anniversary.

Bf is about nine months older than me. But you know how it is with guys and girls. Mentally and emotionally, I think I'm a couple years older. Don't tell him I said that. Laughing
You know, I never considered that I was "made" for him like that. I'll have to use it and see if I get some points, too, elliesmum! At the very least, that's gotta earn me a back rub, right? Razz

My hubby is 13 years older than I.

I had a child very early and learned that most of the guys my age couldn't handle that, got the wrong impression, or were too immature for me. I wanted someone who knew what he wanted out of life, could love me and my daughter, and didn't have to ask his mother's permission to go out on a date. I met my husband 7 1/2 years ago, and every day has been so much brighter since we said hello; I can't imagine a life without him.

HF - you never fail to crack me up!!!!!

I am 10 years and 3 weeks exactly older than my hubby. He is only 29 and is bitching about turning 30 this year. I just tell him to shut up - I will be 40 this year. Actually, I will turn 40 and for 3 weeks I'll still be married to a man in his twenties! Razz Razz It is an endless source of amusement for us - we'll hear a song on the radio and he'll say he was in junior high when that song came out. Of course, when he was in jr high, I was already married for the second time. Embarassed Funny thing is that his parents are the same age as mine - they just waited longer than mine did to have kids.

The age difference bothered me ALOT at first. I even told him that I just couldn't go out with him because of it. However, I am now proud to be a cougar!!!!!!!

Add another one to the 20+ group.

Me - 38
Him - 60

We have been together for over 6 yrs now. We have the Gen X and Baby Boomer generation gap issues sometimes. More so the deep south good old boy (him) and me, the brash Yankee say-it-as-I-see-it attuide clash. Wink

We work together 24/7 for weeks on end when we are out trucking. If we didn't love each other and work things out. Otherwise one of us would be standing on the side of the interstate somwhere far from home. Embarassed Can't step out for a break @ 65 mph after a arguement.

I havent been as active lately here on the boards. The stress of losing Bean and our up-comming move have me struggleing to keep up with regular corraspondance. Miss it though.
