If you don't like Dandy Ripple which was Kristines suggestion. How about Devon Rayne. I think your last name plays a big part in choosing the first two names. If your last name is Wine and you do Dandy Ripple Wine. Not such a good idea. Might get you in the oddest name book though.
Some other thoughts:
Delilah Rose
I also like the name River for a girl. I know it is odd but I like it.

River is a cool name.

Just don't make the name too hard to spell for the kid, my only advice.

Danielle is nice, for a D name.

I was named from the book "Little Women". I am Beth my sister Amy. I never understood why my Mom named me after the one that died.

Let's see... some assorted 'D' names:

Damara, Danica, Darcy, Davita, Dawn (Dawnne), Deidra, Denise, Diana, Donna, Dylana.

Some assorted 'R' names:

Rachel (Raquel), Rae, Rebecca, Renee, Rhianon, Risa, Rosalyn, Roxanne, Ruby, Ruth.

Personally I like Dawnne Rosalyn or Renee.

Lyz.

I have no children (of the human variety anyway) so I'm not up on all the latest and greatest names. However, I just have to comment on the name Dawn. It's probably just me but I swear that every woman I have ever met that was named Dawn has been a psycho nut! I will admit that the most psychotic of them all just happens to be my brother's ex-wife. Maybe that's why I'm prejudiced against that name. Laughing

Wow, a girl. When I was pregnant in the dark ages, they didn't have all those neat tests. I don't think I would have wanted to know the sex. It was a wonderful surprise.

Suggestion for a D and R name. I know a woman by the name of Dorothy Roxanne and she goes by Roxanne.

Best wishes for a healthy preganancy.

Snork!

I do kind of like Dandy Ripple, but Buster&Lola made a good point.

not all dawns are psycho.... not certifiably any way. Wink

but instead of Dawn, It's better spelled Daughn.
