We have 3 cattle dogs and 1 cat.
Our cat, Prissy, is a 16 year old Persian mix. (or more likely DLH) I adopted her from a veteran who was being permanently admitted to the VA hospital.
Our oldest dog, Soda, is 18 and going strong. My husband found him years before I met him. He was part of a litter abandoned by a breeder who lived near by. (only 2 were still alive when he found them.) When Peter confronted the breeder, the guy said cattle dogs weren't selling well 
When we got married Soda started having separation anxiety, so we adopted a cute little puppy named Sobe to keep him company. She is now 5. The rescue got her from Louisiana just a couple of months before Katrina hit. She is very bossy and has a play bark that could shatter glass! (That's Sobe barking at the playground in my Avatar photo.)
Gracie was a failed foster. (She was only my second foster!) She is 7 or 8 years old. Gracie is a worn out breeder who'd been in rescue for a while and had been returned by an adopter. She still has baggage, but she is sweet as can be none the less. |

| I have a 2 year old Chiweenie Maggie. I used to work at a pet store & absolutely fell in love with her as soon as I saw her! I have always loved dachshunds and she favors the Doxie in her. She is a lighter tan and is only 6 lbs. I have been doing some research and looking for a playmate for her. She gets lonely when I'm at work and she is home alone. I just recently moved out of my parents' house and into an apartment. Maggie is doing really well with apartment life. |

Currently, my pets include:
2 cockatiels
Riley, a 2-year-old pied tiel
Bailey, a 13-week-old pearl tiel (She will be 14 weeks tomorrow.)
1 GSD
Lexi, a 6½-year-old white GSD
1 betta
Duskie, a blue and red VT (veil tail) betta |

I have pugs as i rescue them all are seniors.  |
