Hi, I'm pretty new I guess. I'm Ally.

I have a dog, 4 cats, 2 hampsters, and 3 fish.

Dog:
Alex - Siberian Husky. I got him through work (PetSmart's PetsHotel). He was originally there for Day Care (just for the day) & was left for over a week. I loooove huskies, so I worked with him while he stayed. The owner finally came to pick him up and then let us know she's looking for a new home for him because she didn't have time for him. So I was like "me! me! me! I'll take him!".

Cats:
Callie - My sister's cat. Miss sass.
Eevee - My cat. Also sassy...I believe she learned all she knows from Callie.
Milo - Eevee's biological brother. Awesome man!
Kitty - A stray cat who managed to work his way into our family. He's also Milo's bff.

Hamsters:
Amen & Hallelujah Brother - A whole family of hamsters were left at PetSmart, I took two. They're like little monkies!

Fish:
No names Sad
One's a spotted catfish? I don't know much about fish, but I do know that he's the oldest fish in our tank - probably 10+ years.
& Two other fish - not sure what kind. We've had them about 4 months.

But yeah, that's my happy family. Whee!

I have a doxie named Abbey she is 7months old, two cats named Sadie, and one that was just dropped of over the summer named Thomas. I actually saw the idiot throw this porr little kitten out the window. I do hope that if their was more kittens that they are safe. I'm currently as I type this trying to get ground transportation from St. Clairsville, Ohio to New York (Rochester or Arkport area). My family adopted a Husky named Blue Eyes from Belmont Animal Shelter. I can not wait for this 6 year old Husky to arrive.

currently, i only have 2 cats, 1 gerbil, and lots of fish

Amber, a orange tabby DSH; we picked her up of the side of the road a couple of years ago. shes my lover.

Bagheera, a black DSH; we got him from the shelter a long time ago. (NOT a person cat)

Bella, a black gerbil we picked up in the middle of the field more than a year ago, in the fall.

over the rainbow bridge, i have 3 guinea pigs, a dog, and 3 birds

Sally, my first piggy. she was a smooth haired brown/grey with a crest that had one spot of white on it. she was my birthday present; we rescued her from Small Angels Rescue (great rescue by the way). i had to have her pts because of cancer.

Cookie, moms piggy. she was a bright orange with a mohawk. all the rest of her was smooth. we got her from the same place as Sally. she died recently, due to age and the shock of a dog picking her up.

Teddy, everyone's pig. he was a teddy piggy, brown with a white "collar". we got him from an accidental breeding, some neighbors bought 2 piggies and the store said they were the same sex, but they weren't. Teddy was also the reason for our two girls to have babies. we had him neutered, and they only took out one, leaving one for reproducing. we got 2 litters, the same size, 5 each, but only 2 of Cookie's and 4 of Sally's litter survived. they were all adopted out with Small Angels Rescue. he was the first of the 3 piggies to die, i don't know why.

Comet, my German Shepherd-Border Collie mutt. we got him from my aunt; she couldn't afford 3 dogs, so she gave us the best one. (we traded him for our hamster, Buttercup. that hamster was an escape artist. one time it was gone for a month, and we found it down a flight of steps, perfectly fine. it lived 2x the amount a normal hamster should have.) he died this January. i miss him so much. he was the cutest little dog. he was mostly black, with brown, and the smallest speck of white on his chest. i used to say that he was dark chocolate over milk chocolate with a white chocolate middle. i will never forget how he was so good at only having 2 walks a day, and how well he was on the leash, how he ignored our cats, and how passive he was. he ate the trash though. i miss you Comet, i will never forget you!

my 3 parakeets, the only animal to come from a pet store. we had 2 originally, but we took one of our neighbors in. one was white(Lizzie), one was green(Neptune), and one was blue(Sky). they were my sisters, but she gave them to me.

we have also had 3 lizards, one snake (guarder(sp)), and multiple Giant Madagascan Hissing Cockroaches (they had babies, and we found homes for them too!)

we have fostered multiple piggies for Small Angles Rescue, and seen them adopted out.

that is my pet list. (its big!!)

how do you post pictures on here?

I am fairly new to this forum here, too. I recently adopted a Lab/Boxer Mix. She is 7 months old now and broke her leg about two weeks ago. She is wearing a cast on her leg and doing already much better. Her name is Ellie and she has been a great addition to our family

Then I also have a two year old Calico kitty named Luna. She loves to tease my dog...

Andie is an American short-hair and (i think) Spooky is a Burmese mix. both were born in '99.

Andie was an August baby. i got her from one of my college buddies, so i know her exact birthday. i took her to my home when she was 10 weeks old and she's been with me ever since.

the WSPCA said/was guessing that Spook was born in October. i adopted him when he was around 6 months old and he's been with me ever since. they're both getting into the geriatric age range, but they aren't really having any major health issues.

Bandit is a collie-chow-golden retriever mix. i rescued him from his abuser about 10 years ago. he's quite the old man now at 12 years old. he loves to play with the little dog, still. he also loves to play games with Spooky. Smile he's got lots of bounce and silliness in him yet. Smile

and last, but certainly not least ... is my 1.5 year old dog, Ember. she's a cocker/lab mix. she came from one of my best friends in Kansas. she delights in chewing up everything that's not tied down ... and a few things that are. Rolling Eyes ... but that's been slowing down recently. hopefully she's growing out of the chew-on-everything phase.

and that's my furbabies. i love them all very much.

I currently have 2 dogs, but definitely look forward to more dogs and pets in the future.

I love Australian Cattle Dogs. I adopted one on her last day at the shelter.
She's a gem.

Since my old cattle dog died last year, my big mutt has taken the role of lead dog. Only, he really is NOT fit to lead.

But my ACD just defers to him and accepts that she arrived as the 3rd dog.

If the old cattledog is looking down on this, she would be crazed to see the big goofy mutt in charge since she used to control anything with just her gaze!

I live in the country right outside of a small town in Southeast Iowa. Currently, we have an 8 year old mutt named Harry, an 8 month old boxer named Roscoe, an 8 month old pug/border collie named Sucker cause I am a sucker for cute furry faces, a pair of 2 year old calico sisters named Toshi and Friska that were rescues, a 5 year old special needs, diabetic foster cat named Dozer, just adopted an 8 week old gray and white kitten named Pretty Princess and my daughter is bringing home a 12 week old orange kitten named Peaches on Sunday. I used to raise lionhead rabbits, but lost my entire herd to E. Coli from contaminated food and have not had the heart to get back into them yet.

I also have 4 children. My daughter, Coleta, is 9 and my sons, Brayden is 8, Quinton is 7 and Dakota is 4.
