The Hoffman Family

Filming the Hoffmans was especially fun for us because their reasons for getting in touch with Petfinder were so unusual—Crystal really wanted an exotic pet.
In the end, it was educational for all of us to learn, just as she did, that exotic pets like lions, tigers and bears, are neither appropriate nor safe for the home.

Justin, the Hoffman’s son, was a great kid. Even when the Mini horse, Pee Wee, accidentally bit him, he recovered fast and got back into the Petfinding process with such enthusiasm. He seems really happy with his new best friend in the form of their adopted dog Clyde.

The miniature horse, Pee Wee, was a cool looking horse. I wasn't aware anything like that existed. I would love to own a pet like that but, just like Crystal, I realize it's an unusual pet and that isn’t right for all homes.

If so I was so shocked that a grown woman really thought she should have a tiger in the back yard!!! And that she dyed her little dog purple .. I was pleased that one of the host had the same look of shock on her face!!

I really thought mom was a lost cause but Petfinder common sense prevailed .. Thank Goodness!! Laughing

I love the show BTW!!

I think everyone watching must have loved that when Dina was, like, "Wha???" I was so glad they captured her real reaction on the camera.
