i have seen that picture of max in the carrier before because max's
family said all along they really felt the JRT in that carrier was max
but could not find him from there.
but i have never seen that video before ...... maybe max's family
did but just to make sure i will send it to them.
good catch !! _________________ RIP my furry boy. Mama loves you.

Hi All!
I'm glad to hear you guys are finding some of the info useful
I read about Truveo in my boss' Wall Street Journal last week when they were doing an article about video searches. They decided Truveo pulled in the most info and of course as soon as I saw it I knew what I wanted to look for! It did pull up a bunch of stuff we've seen, but there is some pretty interesting stuff I'd not seen before (though as usual I don't have time to go thru every single bit of info). Did poke around enough to determine there's enough good info to make a serious look worthwhile.
I thought the timing of the article was terrific, since I suspect some folks that haven't been on this site recently might take a pass at it again during the anniversary timeframe AND it seems more and more people are still adding Katrina pets type videos. It would be so wonderful if a couple of matches were made! |

Speaking of matches, can anyone take a look at my earlier posts? I think that may be a match - Joli and the dog in Charlotte.
I've sold my house, and am moving in a few weeks, so I can't be on here much, but would love to see someone follow this possible lead. |

| I looked at the video clip Bugsmom mentioned above and checked the lost report for Joli. I think it could be the same dog. Has anyone tried to make contact with the owners? If no one has, I'll give it a try. |

Most of you remember me as ParrotHead, and some remember when I changed my name to Paws4Life. Then I disappeared....well, not really...I moved on to become very involved in other aspects of animal rescue & welfare and animal cruelty investigations, but I always remained in the background of several Katrina cases that became legal battles here in FL.
So with that said, I thought at this anniversary of Katrina, I'd pay a visit back here. and share with you all....
a look back into the Katrina Rescues
A Timeline in photos:

I hope to have more time to spend here once again. I had many good friends who helped me through Wilma and I've never forgotten any of you.
Just for kicks, Here's a thread back in the days of Wilma:
